What are some of the different approaches to Digital Pedagogy?

Digital pedagogy is staring to play a bigger role in education each day, it functions as a tool that educators can use to help them and the learners in the learning process. Their are different approaches to Digital pedagogy, teachers can use it as guidance for the development of the child in such a way that the child acquires an awareness of the world around it - a technologically advanced world and developing everyday. Digital pedagogy can be used in the forms of power points, audio's, video's, blogs - to be facilitated by the educator.

The internet can be used to access more elaborate knowledge on a subject, and feed the curiosity of a learner. It fosters the curiosity of the learner and leads it to other exciting information - the different learners can combine their knowledge through group discussions. creating a class blog and various interactive platforms.

In this way self-regulation and meta-cognitive processes are starting to develop, instead that a learner simply gives up when he/she does not know the answer, the learner can look-up the answer online.
